Massive rework mod for Black & White 2
Black & White 2 Redux Mod is a free-to-use game utility developed by the B&W 2 Redux Team. In this custom mod for the strategy game Black & White 2, you get to experience the same base materials but with extensive reworks turning it into something you’ve never seen before. The mod revises the campaigns, changes the look of the land, and features all-new game mechanics.

Revised campaigns and game modes
In terms of visuals, the Black & White 2 Redux Mod improves the video quality of the base game. Of course, the remastered visuals are accompanied by all-new soundtracks, adding a new layer of dynamics as you play. Building your base also takes a turn for the better, as players can now explore new strategies thanks to the new Wonders that are made available once the corresponding Epic Wonder gets unlocked.
Furthermore, the mod focuses on changing the game mechanics. For starters, the mod greatly revises the Norse, Japanese, and Aztec lands during the campaign mode. You now get to conquer 13 lands overall, plus an entirely new Aztec location. It also adopts the Battle of the Gods Campaign with 3 new lands. There are 10 new quests you can try and two new creatures (Gorilla, Tiger) you can enlist.
While the game revamps certain game mechanics, such as the influence mechanic spreading to villagers, there’s no way to disable or turn them off. It limits certain gameplay possibilities, especially in cases where these mechanics make certain parts of the game uncontrollable for the player. Aside from this minor fix possibility, you can adapt to the existing mechanics and create a strategy befitting a great god.
Revitalizing B&W 2
Black & White 2 Redux Mod offers players a great incentive to reinstall and start playing their B&W 2 game once more. It adds a lot of welcome improvements to the game, from new units to constructing new Wonders. You can spend your time testing your mettle against the revamped campaign games. Although some aspects of the game are out of your control, it adds thrill and challenge.
